Today, La Plata County Public Health launched the Healthy Homes Program to help income-restricted homeowners find and lessen toxins like radon, lead dust, and asbestos in their homes.
The program offers free site visits and educational sessions in April and May (with a stand at the Farmer's Market) to help lower health risks.
