Durango Creative District is asking volunteers to map murals, sculptures and installations around town to update the public art inventory that has not been revised since 2015.

Volunteers will record locations, take photos and collect details for digital mapping on Google Earth—improving access for residents and visitors.

The council will vote on whether to approve the city manager's appointment of Scott McClain as Durango's new parks and recreation director at its regular meeting on Tuesday, June 17+ his appointment will shape local park and recreation programs.

Durango's Parks and Recreation department has hired a landscape contractor to improve Ryler Park (111 Ryler Drive) and work is scheduled to begin soon.

Councilor Kip Koso will hold Council Office Hours at Durango Public Library (1900 East Third Ave) on Wednesday, June 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
