  • Bayfield is planning a new multiuse arena as Pine Valley Church Senior Pastor Scott Kujath leads a fundraising drive for a facility with an indoor arena seating about 2000, a conference center and outdoor spaces for camping and trails — all to support local youth programs and celebrate western heritage. The nonprofit project will seek zoning approval from Bayfield and use private funding and local partnerships — it is expected to boost the local economy without competing with the Durango Fairgrounds.  Durango Local News
