The City of Durango released its meeting schedule for the week of October 6—residents can view agendas and minutes for council sessions and office hours on the official city website.

The council will vote on a resolution at its next meeting that tasks the city manager with exploring ways to use electric fences and mats for bear deterrents—officials say the move will review safe methods to manage local wildlife near homes.
