Durango’s Hive will open its new youth center at 1175 Camino del Rio on November 1 where kids can join skateboarding lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 5:30 and art workshops on Tuesday and Thursday.

The hub offers a safe space for kids to build confidence—through music workshops, mentoring and creative activities.

Installation of a solar system model built to scale is underway along the Animas River Trail — funded in part by the Lodgers’ Tax, and it will soon offer local visitors a unique view of our solar system.
