- ➤ The Three Springs Fall Festival will take place Saturday, October 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Three Springs Plaza near Mercy Hospital with trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt, and a coloring contest to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters. Durango Friends of the Library will hold its fall book sale on November 7th and 8th at the Public Library, and the Colorado State University Extension of La Plata County will host its Women in Agriculture Conference on November 13th and 14th at the La Plata County Fairgrounds to focus on Colorado's changing climate.
