City of Durango announced a one-day 2026 Event Planning Conference that will take place in January + the conference will offer local organizers guidance to improve event quality, strengthen community impact and explore new planning opportunities.

The Festival of Trees & Wreaths kicked off the holiday season in Durango and Cortez today, raising funds for Community Connections and Our Own Lives to help people with disabilities live independently.

The event features an online auction and sponsor displays from over 100 local contributors.
